26 Letters began with inspiration from Art Matters, a book that was written by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Chris Riddell.

“Fiction builds empathy.
Fiction is something you build up from twenty-six letters and a handful of punctuation marks,
and you, and you alone,
using your imagination, create a world, and people it and look out through other eyes.
You’re being someone else, and when you return to your own world, you’re going to be slighty changed.”
It’s a reminder that’s both poetic and grounding.
Language can be difficult, with phonemes and grammar, sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics. But if you think of the English language as just “twenty-six… and a handful”, the scale is reassuringly recognisible, small and manageable.
Yet by weaving the letters and puncutation marks together, you work magic, building entire worlds and even multiple universes. To paraphrase William Blake, it’s like “hold[ing] Infinity in the palm of your hand”.
With that setting the stage, I am merely playing my part (yes, I’m referencing William Shakespeare), and building a company dedicated to words, and the witchery that it enables.

Hi, I’m the main writer, and the person behind 26 Letters.
- 2009: Started writing professionally.
- 2012: Earned my degree in Linguistics & Multilingual Studies (second upper honours).
- 2021: Started 26 Letters.
It’s been a long journey of weaving words, both for myself and my clients.
I’ve worked on so many property investment and finance books, I decided to try the real estate salesperson examinations. I passed, in 2022, so I hold a realtor’s licence.
Beyond writing and real estate, you might find me learning to dance West Coast Swing.
